The Trifold Problem

  • Homelessness impacts over 250K people in the US.
  • Hunger affects over 16M people in America.
  • Plastic Pollution is endangering the world.
How big can a pyramid be built and why can’t we build it taller?

Objective:

In order to quell homelessness, hunger, and plastic pollution, let’s build the tallest building in the world in the shape of a 44.4-mile-high pyramid from recycled 3D-printed plastic. Let’s cover 3 sides with solar panels and generate more power in a second than the earth uses in an entire year. We’ll give the base to the homeless, and reserve space above for the largest indoor farm on earth. This mountain of plastic will scrape the face of space creating the most luxurious real estate in the world. The capitalistic ventures above will support the philanthropic endeavors below.

Why Build from Recycled Plastic?

Building with recycled 3D-printed plastic is an innovative and sustainable solution to both the homelessness crisis and the mounting waste problem. These homes, constructed using recycled plastic lumber, not only reduce landfill waste but also provide weather-resistant and customizable options. Imagine humungous legos that can be stacked into outer space.

Additionally, the modular nature of plastic homes enables rapid construction, making them ideal for emergency housing initiatives. Furthermore, these structures can be integrated with indoor farming, supporting sustainable agriculture practices and promoting food security. Building with plastic homes is an effective way to address immediate housing needs while fostering a sustainable and eco-friendly future.

Ground Level: The Largest Homeless Shelter on Earth

How many people could dwell within that magnificent structure?

More than a quarter of a million Americans are struggling with homelessness. Yet the United States has built a multibillion-dollar industry housing inmates in corporate prisons. We need a capitalistic approach to end homelessness. SKYWARD is the solution.

SKYWARD proposes using 3D printing technology to quickly and affordably build homes, addressing homelessness. This method saves time, reduces costs, uses eco-friendly materials, and works in remote areas. It offers a stylish and sustainable solution to end homelessness.

The ground floor of SKYWARD will be dedicated to the people and will offer free permanent housing for every homeless person in America in addition to anyone needing a temporary place to stay.

Level 2: Largest Vertical Farm

How many people could we feed with mile-high greenhouses and indoor farms?

Vertical farms are an innovative solution to feed a growing population. They grow crops in stacked layers with artificial lighting and controlled conditions. Advantages include high yields in small spaces, less water usage, and reduced waste. Vertical farms can also help end world hunger by producing food year-round and in areas unsuitable for traditional farming.

Level 3: Life Force HQ (100% Volunteer Hospital)

Could you imagine a world-class facility with the best and brightest medical professionals devoting their time and energy to providing healthcare and conducting research and development?

The Life Force HQ is a revolutionary concept in healthcare, offering high-quality, 100% free healthcare to those in need. With top medical professionals and research capabilities, it provides advanced treatments and technologies. This volunteer-driven initiative addresses healthcare gaps, benefits the community, and has a global impact.

Level 4 Stadium & Entertainment Center

The operations below will require revenue if only for ongoing cost and maintenance. On top of the critical real estate reserved for philanthropic operations, above will be allotted for revenue-raking activities such as sports and entertainment.

Imagine a magnificent world-class stadium in the sky, combining entertainment, gaming, and philanthropy. This grand entertainment center generates revenue to fund social causes like ending homelessness, providing free healthcare, and supporting a vertical farm. It also offers employment opportunities and attracts tourists, benefiting the local economy. While this is a conceptual idea, further research and planning would be necessary for implementation.

The SKYWARD Head Quarters is a remarkable achievement that inspires and empowers its staff and guests, serving as a perfect home for SKYWARD’s operations.

Talk Power to Me

SKYWARD’s incredible power lies in its colossal size and advanced solar panels. Picture a pyramid reaching 44 miles high – that’s like stacking hundreds of skyscrapers on top of each other. Now, this pyramid is covered in cutting-edge solar panels, harnessing sunlight like never before.

The math behind it goes like this: Imagine each panel produces 400 watts of energy, about as much as four bright light bulbs. Now, multiply that by a staggering 3.866 trillion panels covering the pyramid. That’s where the magic happens – SKYWARD generates more than a petawatt of energy every second.

Now, what’s a petawatt? Well, it’s a gigantic unit of power, like having a billion billion watts. To put it in perspective, think about atomic bombs. One ‘Little Boy’ bomb released energy equal to about (6.276 \times 10^{13}) joules. Now, SKYWARD pumps out energy that’s like sixteen of those bombs exploding every single second. That’s the kind of power we’re talking about – a colossal, unrelenting surge that dwarfs even our most powerful creations. With near-unlimited power, we will squash any peril in our path.
